About Maru-san
Hi, I’m Maru-san.
Can I tell you a little about myself?
When I was 19, I left Japan with very little English.
I studied art in the UK, worked as a scuba diving guide in Egypt, and at a hostel in Australia.
Until recently, France was home.
Even now, whenever I go abroad, I still run into language barriers, cultural differences, and things that simply work differently from what I’m used to.
It was especially hard when I had no one to talk to when I needed advice, or didn’t know who to ask when I had questions.
That was one of the hardest parts of living abroad.
And after years, I started to think: maybe it was time for me to help others going through the same thing.
So I decided to come back to Japan.
Now, my trusted partners and I are here to be people you can truly trust and rely on in Japan.
