From everyday life to business projects, we’re here for you.
Planning something in Japan, but…
That’s who we’re here for!
See our past projects, from hotel openings to language programmes and more.
I know how difficult it can be to get things started in another country.
When I first tried to build a life abroad, I often found myself not knowing how things worked, what to ask, or even who to ask.
I know how daunting that can feel. That experience is one of the reasons I started “Project 03 (Maru-san)”.
I want to be the person I once needed: someone who understands the country, knows how things work, and can help turn an idea into something real.
Maru-san, Guu LLC

Why Choose Us?
× ×
Flexible, not formulaic.
We’re not a big company relying on AI and standardised services. We’re a small team of Maru-san and trusted teammates, so we take the time to understand each person’s needs and respond with genuine care and flexibility.
No unnecessary steps, no handoffs. Just me by your side from start to finish.
We go where the work is.
We’re not limited to a laptop and a video call.
When your project needs someone on the ground, we can travel anywhere in Japan to meet people, check locations, coordinate with local partners, or simply make sure things go smoothly.
We understand both sides.
Our international team brings a deep understanding of both Japanese and other cultures.
We know that the way people communicate, work, and do business can be very different from one country to another.
We help bridge those differences, so everyone can work together comfortably and get things done in Japan.
Hospitality is our home ground.
With years of hands-on experience in hospitality and tourism, we know how to manage the businesses, the people, and the unexpected things that come with a project.
From running a private rental to planning a hotel launch or improving existing operations, feel free to talk to us about anything hospitality-related.
Japan, beyond the guidebooks.
As a qualified travel professional and certified Adventure Tour Coordinator, we know how to find the right places across Japan, including many that you won’t find in a typical travel guide.
Looking for a place to live, a unique filming location, a suitable venue for an event, or an unforgettable experience?
We can help you find it.
